Island Defence

In my first year at Saxion, I was tasked with making a game to prove a basic level of expertise in Unity.

I designed and implemented a first-person shooter with a variety of features, showcasing work with various systems of Unity, ranging from work with audio and physics to making an interactive tutorial and writing custom shaders.

Overview

The game takes place on a small rocky island. The player has to use a gun and a shield to fight waves of hostiles parachuting onto the island. Health packs are continuously airdropped into the island, which forces the player to keep moving around the island.
